Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience.
- Training in or familiarity with Classical Christian education.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Note: State Certification is not a mandatory requirement.
Commitment to Faith
All employees must be able to:
- Be able to sign the Geneva Academy Statement of Faith
- Be a faithful attender, in good standing, of a local, evangelical church
- Affirm the other qualifications outlined in our Teacher Job Description

Full Time: Secondary Humanities Teacher
Part Time: Grammar School PE (1 day/wk)
God raises up outstanding teachers from many different backgrounds and walks of life. We’ve hired home-schooling mothers, retired Federal officers, novice college graduates, former public school classroom aides, and self-employed businessmen, in addition to formally trained instructors. We provide professional development to staff, particularly since Classical Christian education and teaching is remarkably different than most other schooling. We look mostly for heart and aptitude; we’ll invest in a teacher’s skillset.
